Semis and bungalows in Bearsden, Milngavie and Kirkintilloch often have lofts used for storage on boards that crush the insulation. A raised deck fixes that.
We cover Clydebank, Dumbarton, Alexandria, Bearsden, Milngavie and Kirkintilloch. More about our work in Dunbartonshire.
Most lofts are boarded the wrong way: chipboard screwed straight onto the joists, squashing the insulation down to the joist height. Crushed insulation loses most of its performance and boards sitting on it can trap moisture.

★★★★★Clean and professional outfit, solid communication from start to finish and we are delighted with the finished product.
Yes. We fit raised loft boarding, ladders and hatches across Dunbartonshire, starting with a free survey.
Not without crushing the insulation. Joists are usually around 100mm deep and the insulation a loft needs is much deeper, so we raise the deck on legs.
A storage area around the hatch is usually half a day; a full loft is one to two days.
Yes, and we'd recommend it. The top-up may be grant-funded if you qualify; the boarding itself isn't.
