ScotTherm Insulation collects the details you give us when you fill in a form on this website, call us or email us: usually your name, phone number, email address, postcode and anything you tell us about your home.
What we use it for: to get back to you about your enquiry, arrange a survey, send you a quote and carry out the work if you go ahead. If you ask about grants, we may use the details you give us to check which schemes you could qualify for.
Who we share it with: nobody, except where it's needed to do the job you've asked for, such as a grant scheme you've asked us to apply to on your behalf. Enquiry forms come straight to our own inbox from this website's server, which also keeps a copy so nothing gets lost. We don't sell or rent your details, and we don't cold call.
How long we keep it: as long as we need it for your enquiry or job, and for our business records as the law requires.
We only use cookies if you press Accept on the cookie message. They let Google Analytics show us how the site is used, and let Google Ads tell us which adverts led to an enquiry or a call. Google's cookies last up to two years. Ours last 90 days.
If you say no, Google may still receive basic information that doesn't use cookies, such as a page being viewed or an enquiry being sent, without identifying you. The site also remembers your choice on your device.
If you came from one of our adverts, the advert's click reference is sent with your enquiry. We use it to tell Google which adverts led to work, so we spend less on the ones that don't.
Some visitors who arrive from our adverts see a different phone number. It's a Google forwarding number that comes straight through to us and tells us the call came from an advert. Google records the time and length of the call and the caller's area code.
Your rights: you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email info@scottherminsulation.co.uk or call 0800 069 9339. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
