With so many homes in Dumfries, Annan and across Galloway on oil or LPG, cutting fuel use is the greenest step. Recycled-glass Earthwool suits modern homes; natural wood fibre or wool suits traditional ones.
We cover Dumfries, Stranraer, Annan, Castle Douglas, Kirkcudbright and Newton Stewart. More about our work in Dumfries & Galloway.
The most environmentally friendly thing insulation does is cut how much heating you use. The second is lasting: breathable materials on old buildings avoid the damp problems that lead to insulation being ripped out. That's why we never install spray foam in homes.

★★★★★The whole team were a pleasure from initial quote through to installation. Friendly, professional and left no mess behind. Delighted with our loft insulation, thanks!
Yes. We fit recycled-glass Earthwool, wood fibre and sheep's wool across Dumfries, Annan & Galloway, and recommend the right one for your house at a free survey.
It depends on the house. Wood fibre and sheep's wool are natural and breathable; Earthwool is mostly recycled glass and very efficient. The best one is the one that suits your walls and roof and lasts.
We don't install it in homes. It can trap moisture against roof timbers and is very hard to remove, which is why many lenders won't accept it.
Yes, if you qualify. Grants fund insulation measures, and we can often use natural materials within them.
