Angus mixes sandstone towns with post-war council stock. Recycled-glass Earthwool suits the modern houses; breathable wood fibre or wool suits the sandstone ones.
We cover Arbroath, Forfar, Montrose, Brechin, Carnoustie and Kirriemuir. More about our work in Angus.
The most environmentally friendly thing insulation does is cut how much heating you use. The second is lasting: breathable materials on old buildings avoid the damp problems that lead to insulation being ripped out. That's why we never install spray foam in homes.
★★★★★Guys were on time and friendly. Did job in great time. Tidied up behind themselves. Would recommend.
★★★★★The whole team were a pleasure from initial quote through to installation. Friendly, professional and left no mess behind. Delighted with our loft insulation, thanks!
Yes. We fit recycled-glass Earthwool, wood fibre and sheep's wool across Angus, and recommend the right one for your house at a free survey.
It depends on the house. Wood fibre and sheep's wool are natural and breathable; Earthwool is mostly recycled glass and very efficient. The best one is the one that suits your walls and roof and lasts.
We don't install it in homes. It can trap moisture against roof timbers and is very hard to remove, which is why many lenders won't accept it.
Yes, if you qualify. Grants fund insulation measures, and we can often use natural materials within them.
